Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I see tutoring as both an oppurtunity to help students learn and to help myself learn. As a tutor I can both provide the student with the skills and experience that have helped me succeed, at the same time I help myself understand the academic areas I tutor better and become a better teacher.
Why should a student pick you?
- When I tutor a student I see it as my responsibility to both help the student excel in the subject they're having trouble with and also teach them to apply the skills gained in the subject to every facet of their life. More so than excelling at tests and getting good grades I will go to great lengths to give them some skills neccesary to excel at any future academic endeavours.
