Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I would like to help students to pass state math exams and excell on their math SAT scores or college entrance exams.
Why should a student pick you?
- I have over twenty years of teaching various levels of math. I have a very diverse backround. I have taught at Catholic high schools, Inner city high schools, prisons, juvinile halls, community schools and am currently teaching math at Mission Bay High Scool. I can teach basic math through calculus.I taught statistics and accelerated precalculus last year at San Diego High Scool. I have a degree in math and several teaching credentials. I have tons of success teaching because I break information down so that every student understands. With all the years of experience comes the knowledge of what to expect students to have difficulty with. Most tutors do not have degress nor the experience to forsee problems students might experience in math and state tests. I am the teacher you have been looking for!
