Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I always been one to assist my friends in understanding a concept throughout school. I became an 'professional' tutor my senior year in high school and really enjoy seeing the progress of my students.
Why should a student pick you?
- I do not simply show a student how to get the right answer on one problem, I teach them the how and the why so that they will be able to get all problems right on the test.
Personal Statement:
- I am a recent graduate from UC Irvine with a B.S. in biology, while in college I worked as a researcher in a fruit fly lab. I feel confident in tutoring biology, chemistry, physics, and some math levels.
